Ways to help

Volunteer Roles

Tours & Visitor Services

Open the depot or Roberts House for tours, and host school groups and receptions.

Seasonal & Events

Holiday decorating and helping events at the depot run smoothly.

Public Relations

Newspapers, social media, the website, correspondence, and speakers for meetings.

Fundraising & Grants

Fundraising projects and grant writing that keep the museum going.

Facilities & Maintenance

Carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, housekeeping, yard work, and security.

Research & Collections

Research historical topics and help with clerical and computer tasks.

Volunteer Perks

Volunteers receive free membership benefits:

  • Educational lectures every two months (6 per year)
  • Access to activities at the Depot
  • Access to Robert's Home museum when not in use
  • Free admission during regular Depot hours
